Royal Wedding Sampler Kit from One Off Needlework

This is a counted cross-stitch kit for the wedding of HRH Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton.

Finished size  24cm  x 32.5cms (approx 9in x 13ins)

This kit includes: 14 count white Aida fabric, Anchor stranded cotton, Needle,   Instructions,  Diagrams and Stitching tips,

3) Married + date + Westminster Abbey

The motifs and symbols used are - thistles for Scotland where the couple met. The lions represent England where they will be King and Queen and Africa where Prince William proposed. The red dragons represent Wales and the shells are from the Spencer coat of arms which the Prince insisted on for his own arms. Trees, swans, red roses, wedding bells and peacocks all seemed appropriate to the occasion.
